Sutcliffe To Coach
DUNEDIN. Tuc.—B. Sutcliffe has accepted an engagement as coach to the Otago Cricket Association. He will take up his position on his return to New Zealand from the English tour. Sutcliffe’s duties will include the coaching of club players, visits to the schools, and special attention to promising young cricketers, and it is possible that he will occasionally lour the country districts. During the winter he will be engaged with indoor coaching.
The new coach has already submitted tentative proposals for a coaching scheme, and will discuss them with the association on his arrival in Dunedin. The Otago association will meet tonight to discuss further particulars.
