Berthing Of 'Block ' Ship
AUCKLAND. Tuc. (Spy.—A move which will test the decision of employees of the Auckland Harbour Board and walersiders to declare "black" the Canadian freighter Ottawa Valley will he considered by the board today.
.•V formal application lias been made for berthage space for the ship, which is lying in the Auckland stream.
The watersider.s and .some other organisations have declared the Ottawa Valley black because of her Seafarers’ International Union crew.
Tlie unusual course of calling the full board has been taken because of the complex labour problems surrounding the ship.
