Czech Exiles Beat Germans In Doubles

GENEVA, Sun. (I p.m.)—'The Czech exiles, Drobny and Cernik, took only 45 minutes today to beat the Germans, Rolf Goepfert and Werner Beuthner. 6—3, 6—o, 6—3, in the final of the Swiss doubles championship. It was because of the Germans' participation in the tournament that Drobny and Cernik were ordered to drop out by the Czech Government.

Earl Cochell, of America, caused a surprise by beating Drobny in the final of the men's singles championship, 3—6, 6—3, 2—6. 6—3, 7—5.
