(P.A.).—Wa-nganui-Manawatu. with four points, and Taranaki with three, the leaders in the North Island inter-provincial women's golf championship which was to . conclude this afternoon, met in the foursomes this morning. WanganuDManawatu won by three matches to nil. Wellington, with one point, defeated Hawkesßay-Poverty Bay. who have yet to score, by the same margin. Points are allotted teams on the basis of j two for a win and one for a tie. The weather at Paraparaumu is fine and the course is in perfect order.
