Appeals Upheld
HASTINGS, Wed. (P.A.) The Hawke’s Bay distinct committee yesterday upheld the appeals of A. W. Meikie, part-ownei: and trainer of Pjmlico, and Jockey L. W. Ford. Meikie and Ford! were disqualified for three months by the judicial committee of the Hlawke’s Bay Jockey Club on a charge thtat they did not run Pimlico on its merits in the Hawke's Bay Hurdles on the. second day of the recent Hawke’s Bay winter meeting. According to the committee’s findings, issued .this morning, 1 evidence taken at the initial inquiry was heard and also additional evidence.
