Whangarei Rotary Club Officials
Seating accommodation was at a premium at the Whangarei Ambulance Hall today, when members of the Rotary Club of Whangarei, accompanied by their wives, attended the club’s weekly luncheon. A very happy time was spent, and the proceedings were voted a great success. The speaker for the day was Rotarian A. Sargent, who gave his impressions of the extended visit he and Mrs Sargent recently spent in Australia.
The ballot for next year’s officers of the club resulted: President, Mr D. Wilson; vice-pi'esident, Mr W. T. Surman; secretary, Mr W. A. Christiansen (re-elected); treasurer, Mr C. R. Hargrave (re-elected); auditor, Mr C. F. Waugh; sergeant-at-arms, Mr N. S. Barnaby; directors, Messx's R. Sands, J. O. Keene, T. Busck and A. K. Franks.
