Abyssinian Revolt Reports Defied
LONDON Mon. (11.30 a.m.).— The Abyssinian Embassy today denied Italian newspaper i sports of a revolt near.Addis Ababa.
The spokesman described as “absolutely false” reports published by Italian newspapers and broadcast by Rome radio that 300 people had been killed and that an attempt was made to ambush the Crown Prince.
The spokesman added: “It is all part of a campaign by the Italian press to give a false impression of the true situation in Abyssinia.”
