Freezing Workers' Pay Raised

WELLINGTON, Mon. (P.A.) —A further rise of 2d an hour was given by the Arbitration Court to freezing workers for all districts except Westland.

The , award rates announced on March 2 have been amended to provide for extra payment, the new rate being 4/104 an hour for men on chain slaughtering. Other rates are also amended, except for piecework.
