Expensive Nylons
LONDON. Thu. (11 a.m.)— Ronald John Chesney, a 40-year-old bearded New Zealand writer and ex-naval.of-ficer, was sentenced to three months in prison and lined £250, with 25 guineas costs, today for customs evasion.
He was alleged to have smuggled 900 pairs of nylons from Brussels in a caravan.
