AUCKLAND. Fri. (Sp..—A New Zealand press record was broken at the third monthly meeting of the Auckland Amateur Weight-lifting Association at the Physical Welfare. Gymnasium; Houghton House. T. Clark, 1731 b, the New Zealand light-heavy-weight champion, lifted 220121 b for the new record.

The Dominion middle-weight titleholder, B. R. George, competing for the first time this season, showed that he was still the best lifter in Ills class. He totalled 7251 b on the three Olympic lifts.
