Refuse Work Until Doctor Appointed
•WESTPORT, Thu., (P.A.L—No work was done in Stockholm Mines today because of no appointment of a doctor to' that district in place of the usual medical officer who is recuperating from an injury. The men claim that dangerous work in the mines makes it necessary that a doctor should be available at short notice, and they will not work until a replacement arrives. Similar action has been taken at Denniston in the past on occasions when no doctor was stationed at that township.
