Shot-Gun Pellet Wounds Farmer
GISBORNE, Wed. (P.A.)— Police are investigating a shot-gun wound suffered by a Waimata farmer, Mr B. H. Smith, who was struck in the neck by a shot-gun pellet as he was driving a mob of cattle at 6 a.m., on the Waimata road.
The pellet penetrated two thicknesses of an oilskin coat and embedded half an ifiCh iff the neck.
