RSA Praise For Fraser

WELLINGTON, Wed. (P.A.).—Keen satisfaction at the “courageous and inspiring statement of the Prime Minister on the question of the defence of New Zealand, which he made to the Labour Party conference” was expressed in a resolution passed by the Dominion executive committee of the New Zealand Returned Services Association last night. This was reported by the Dominion president of the association (Sir Howard Kippenberger).

, The resolution added: “It is most gratifying to the association to know that the Prime Minister is so seized with the importance of the defence and security of New Zealand and has stated his views so emphatically for the guidance of the whole community.”

It was decided to write to Mr Fraser congratulating and thanking him for the magnificent stand he had taken.
