Australian Plans For Defence
CANBERRA Thu. (11.30).—The Minister of Defence (Mr J. J. Dedmani said in the House of Representatives that Australia was developing her defence plans on the basis of integration with the plans of the United Kingdom and New Zealand.'
He added that at the moment it seemed impossible to get any other nations in the Pacific to join a Pacific pact. The development of Australia's plans with those of the United Kingdom and New Zealand was the best that could be done at the moment.
