Shot While Rabbiting
GORE. Tue., (P.A.).— A married man, Mr Ivan Ross McLean, 33, teacher, of Ashburton, who was holidaying at Pukerau, last night, was found dead with a bullet wound in the head.
He had been staying with his broth-er-in-law, Mr Lennon James Miller, who discovered the body. Deceased yesterday afternoon went shooting rabbits on the property of Mr T. L. MacDonald, M.P., with a .22 rifle.
Last night he was found by Mr Miller, lying dead beside a fence, with a bullet wound in his head.
The rifle was lying across the body
