(10 a.m.)— Paul de Lesseps, son of Ferdinand Marie de Lesseps, French builder of the Suez Canal, was condemned to death in absentia by the Paris Court of Justice today De Lesseps was found guilty ol naving given the Germans, dur ing the occupation of France, a report describing his version of how military, sea and,air opera tions could be carried out effec tively against the canal. In addition to the death pen alty, de Lesseps was sentenced to national degradation and confis cation of all his property. He is believed to be in Spain
