WELLINGTON, Fri. (P.A.)— The Atlantis, which is due at Wellington on May 19, is carrying 892 new settlers from Britain. Of these,' 776 are assisted settlers, 109 are recruits (mainly tradesmen) for the armed forces, and seven are selected migrants paying their own fares. Announcing this, the/ Minister of Immigration (Mr McLagan) said dispersal of the party would be carried out on the broadest possible basis and almost every main and secondary centre in New Zealand would receive a quota. Many trades and occupations are represented among the new settlers. There are also 82 settlers nominated by persons in New Zealand.
