WELLINGTON-, Mon. (Sp.)—A delegation from the Federated Farmers of New Zealand will represent New Zealand at the International Federation of Agricultural Producers at Guelph. Canada. Members of the delegation will be Messrs R. G. Buckleton, of Wellington, and John Andrew, of Otago. The assistant director-general of agriculture (Mr R. B. Tennont) will accompany the delegation as official adviser, at the specific request of the Federated Farmers. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Cullen). “The delegates will visit after the conference certain localities in the United States where climatic and soil conditions are similar to those of the Dominion," said the Minister. “The Government has agreed to Mr Tennent accompanying the delegation with a view to promoting interest in New Zealand pasture seeds in the United States.” Mr Tennent would arrange for official trials of New Zealand seeds by various research and extension of organisations.
