Bay County Council To Call Idle Lands Meeting
KAWAKAWA, Thu. (Sp.)—Preliminary action on the Whangarei suggestion for utilisation of Northland s idle lands was taken yesterday by the Bay of Island County Council. The council followed the Whangarei County Council s suggestion to call a meeting of in this area likely to be interested, at which an active committee could be set up to study the position in detail, attend later conferences, etc.
