'T'HE Local Government Commission, acting under the powers conferred upon it by Local Government Commission Act, 1946, has, on February 23, 1949, promulgated a FINAL SCHEME providing that areas described in Schedules of the Final Scheme shall be excluded from County of Whangarei and included in Borough of Whangarei, and that’ from date of absorption of aforesaid areas by Borough of Whangarei the electricity supply to these Districts shall be provided by Borough of Whangarei and not by North Auckland Electric Power Board.
