THE Whangarei Boys’ High School’s annual swimming sports were hekl at the Whangarei Public School baths th.s mormng.
Although the sky was overcast, only a slight drizzle of rain fell for one short period. The standard of the diving, especially in the intermediate section, was of a high order. Apart from the final results shown, a large number of heats were held. Champions were: Senior: M. Maihi (20 points). Intermediate: B. Flower (18). Junior: J. Hita (15). Results were: SENIOR 50yds: M.
