London Wool Sales
LONDON. Thu. (1 p.m.)—The London wool auctions were' held today, with offerings totalling 16,326 bales, of which 16.122 were sold. New Zealand submitted 5465 bales, and Australia 7518.
Competition was keen, with Bradford well in the market for nearly all types. Prices ruled very firm and inclined slightly in sellers’ favour. Bradford tops:' Merino 70’s, 122 d; 64’s. 11 Id; 60's, 106 d. Crossbred, 56’s, 68d; 50’s, 44d; 46’s, 41d.
