Fine Introduction To Whangarei
“This camp is set in really impressive surroundings, and is a fine introduction to Whangarei,” said Mr E. Christiansen, of Taumarunui, when he arrived in the William Jones Motor Camp. Mr Christiansen, who is travelling with his wife and family by caravan, is making his first tour of Northland. With a fortnight at his disposal, he intends to see as much of the Bay of Islands as possible and take in Waipoua Kauri Forest as well. He likes what he has seen of Northland, particularly the view from the hills north of Ruakaka over the harbour and Bream Bay.
