Australian Athletes

SYDNEY. Wed. (2 p.m.)— The New South Wales Amateur Athletic Association lias decided that three Olympic athletes may miss some state title events in order to tour New Zealand. The tour has not yet been officially sanctioned, however, and the officials will have to call a special meeting to do so. At a general meeting on November 24 the association decided not to allow the Australian team to leave for New Zealand until after the state championships. 'The athletes concerned are Treloar, Curotta and Avery. If the tour is sanctioned the team will leave for New Zealand by air on February 14 and return on March 8. Treloar is suffering from antrim trouble and may not be fit to tour.
