18,000 Gits,, For 7 Year Stud Mare
LONDON. Wed. (11 a.m.)— The Sezincote Stud paid a record price of 18,000 guineas for a seven-year-old stud mare, Ferry Pool, by Hyperion from Devachon, and believed to be in foal to Nearco.
The previous record was 17.000 gns for Olein in 1942, and Straitlace in 1925.
