WASHINGTON. —The Federal Reserve Board reported; that the United States’ industrial production in October reached a peacetime record. f index increased to 95 per sent above the 1935-39 average. The previous peak was 94 per cent in February. A 4 per cent rise in the activity of steel mills to nearly 100 per cent of capacity helped to produce the new record.
