POTASH
JERUSALEM. —Jewish and British officials at meetings in London are reported to have reached an agreement to resyme the export of potash from the Dead Sea.
The Jews are to build a road across the desert linking the potash works at the southern end of the Dead Sea with Beersheba. Machinery and heavy equipment to increase production is to be sent from Britain. Britain was one of ithe biggest pre-war buyers of Palestine’s potash.
