The Matakana resident who won £4OOO in an overseas consultation, using the nom de plume of “V.K., Matakana,’’ is Mr V. K. Kidd, a commercial : agent and former butcher. In addition to winning £4OOO, Mr Kidd still has a chance of winning three major prizes of £50,000, £10,000,. £SOOO. • A brother is Mr Lindsay Kidd, of Kaikohe. The winner of the £3OOO prize in the same consultation is a young Tikipunga .farmer, Mr J. R. Clapham. He used the nom de plume,, of “Johnnie” on his prjze-winning ticket and until this morning had managed to keep quiet the news of his good fortune. • He is a son of Mr A. Clapham, of Tikipunga. ;-. B
