Womens Champion

AUCKLAND. Fri. (Sp.).—The New Zealand women’s golf champion of, last year, Miss E. Wilkinson, of the Grange club, yesterday won the title of the Auckland champion of champions by six strokes in the 36-hole medal event staged for the occasion on the Titirangi course. Miss Wilkinson’s aggregate was 166, her rounds being 80 and 86. The second player was Miss M. Hughes, the 19-year-old champion of the Waiuku club, who had rounds of 85 and 87 and an aggregate of 172.
