However, it was thickest yesterday morning, and it gave a definite bluish tinge to a long vierv. This is the second time this spring that hazes have drifted across the Tasman from Australia. The first, which reached Auckland about a fortnight ago, was caused by dust and took several hours to pass over Auckland. * m •
