Northern Wairoa’s petition for the retention of Flight-Sergeant D. Pryor as Northland Air Training Corps instructor, supported by Kaikohe and Kaitaia, is receiving attention in Wellington. according to advice received from Mr S. W. Smith, M.P. for Hobson. Mr Smith has advised that the other two Northland members of Parliament, Messrs T. C. Webb (Rodney) and A. J. Murdoch (Marsden) have also signified their support for the petition which has been lodged as a protest against the transfer of the in structor to Hamilton. The three Northland members or Parliament intend taking the matte, up with the Defence Minister (Mr Jones).
