Well Run !
Not one hitch marred the running of the Whau Valley ladies’ open golf tournament over Labour week-end. Everything went off like clockwork. Players left the first tee at regular intervals, cards were handed in without delay and results were posted immediately. Mainly responsible for the happy state of affairs was the tournament committee, comprising Mrs A. Heape and Miss H. Dwen, and Stan Clark (starter) and Eric Hancock (scoreboard official).
