Jim Galloway In Open
Whangarei professional golfer, Jim Galloway, will be competing in the New Zealand open and professional championships at the Balmacewen links, Dunedin, next month. Jim has not taken part in big golf since winning the Victory tournament at Titirangi last season but he has been practising assiduously during recent weeks when time has permitted and expects to be in good form for the open.
Galloway is also competing in a tournament being staged by Dunedin’s St Clair Club a week before the championships. This is arranged more or less as a pipe-opener for visiting players.
