WELLINGTON.— The deplorable ionditions at the Maoi village at Orakei wei: mentioned in the Hors of Representatives yesterday when the ; :ting Minister of Maoi: Affairs (Mr Nash) repli’d to a question from Mr R. M. Algie (O—'.femuera). Mr Nash replied that action was being taken to house Unpeople now living in th Maori village at Orafei on Crown lands to tie east' and west of thfjvillage. This ws| the first step necesjry to remedy the exsting conditions. i
