BURNED
THAMES. Severe burns to the body, arms and face were suffered by Mr Basil Frank Hooker Pulford, farmer, Coast Road, Thames, when a charge of explosive, with which he was splitting posts exploded prematurely. His clothing caught alight. His son, Douglas Basil Pulford, received slight jqurns/whiijb helping his father to extinguish his burning clothes.
Mr Pulford was admitted to the . Thames Hospital.
