Fatal Foil From Hamilton Bridge

HAMILTON, Wed. (Sp).—A Waikato dairy farmer suffered fatal injuries when he fell from the western end of the Hamilton traffic bridge to the ground at about three o'clock yesterday afternoon. He was Mr Thomas Laird Harper, aged 52, of Matangi. Mr Harper had been a director of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., since August, 1945, and was returned to office unopposed at the recent election. He was a married man with a family.
