Dockers Stop Work Ors Explosives Ship
CHRISTCHURCH, Tue. (P.A.).—The discharge of ammunition from the vessel Yunnan at Lyttelton stopped this morning when watersiders refused to continue work unless certain precautionary measures were taken. Discharge began on Saturday and had been carried on since under protest.
After the watersiders stopped today ihe work was continued by army personnel.
A meeting of the port committee is to be held this afternoon.
