PRAGUE, Mon. (10 a.m.)— A Slovak; court sentenced 41 persons to forced j labour, ranging from one month to | two years, after anti-Jewish demon- j strations in Bratislava on August 20. j The demonstrations occurred after j security police rescued a Jewess whom j angry housewives attacked when she*} tried to “jump” a queue at a fruit j stall. _ j
The rioters broke the windows of a Jewish hospital and destroyed furniture in a mess hall used for former political prisoners.
