Huntsman Killed

TE PUKE, Tue. (Sp.).— lnjuries from which he later died were suffered by a rider who fell during -the Bay of Plenty-Rotorua Hunt Club’s Hunt at Pukehina, near Te Puke, on Saturday. He was:

Mr Richard Francis Hickling, aged 31, farmer, of Edgecumbe. Mr Hickling was unconscious when other members of the hunt picked him up. He was attended at the scene of the accident by Dr L. Randell, of Te ‘Puke, and taken to the Tauranga Hospital. He failed to regain consciousness and died last night. Mr Hickling, who came from Nga•'ahia, had "been in the Edgecumbe district for 13 months.
