To Charter Liner For Pacific Run

SYDNEY, Sat.—A liner will be chartered as soon as possible to run in the Pacific service with the liner Aorangi while the Canadian-Australas-ian Line builds a new vessel. This was announced yesterday by the vicepresident of the line (Mr J. N. Greenland), when he arrived in Sydney from London in the Orion. With a chartered liner, the Canad-ian-Australasian Line would be able to resume its pre-war timetable of monthly sailings from Auckland to Vancouver.

After an absence of more than seven years from the service, the company’s liner Aorangi will arrive at Auckland from Sydnejl on August 23 and sail the following day for Vancouver, via Suva and 'Honolulu. • She will make northbound sailings every two months.
