Latrun Water Station Destroyed

LONDON, Thu. GO a.m.).—The Latrun water-pumping station lias been damaged beyond repair, according to a French truce observer. No water is able to pass to Jerusalem.

Two explosions, followed by fire wrecked the station. It is officially announced that Arabs were responsible for the explosions. United Nations observers took over the pumping station yesterday and technicians intended to make minor repairs today preparatory to resuming direct water supplies to Jerusalem. Following a recent agreement with the United Nations, the Arabs yesterday withdrew 1000 yards from the station and promised not to interfere with pumping operations.
