Severs Charter Flights
AUCKLAND; Thu. (P.A.)— Seven ! transtasman flights by Skymasters of Transaustralian Airlines and Constel- j lations of Qantas Empire Airways will , be made under charter to Tasman Em- j pire Airw’ays in September. ! These flights will supplement the company’s flyingboat service, which j will operate daily, except Sunday. Sugar Ship Diverf-ed j AUCKLAND. Thu. (P.A.) The' chartered sugar ship Pelos, which left Auckland yesterday afternoon for Sydney, has been diverted to Fiji, presumably to pick up a further shipment, according to advice received by the agents this morning. j The vessel has made three charter trips for the Colonial Sugar Refining _ Company in recent months. I Troopship On Monday j AUCKLAND. Thu. (P.A.).— The 1 troopship Westralia, carrying 536 New Zealand J Force personnel, is expected to arrive at Auckland early on Monday morning. I Disembarkation arrangements will i be the same as those for the Dun- : troon earlier this week. The Duntroon will sail for Sydney ; on Saturday morning with about 2001 civilian passengers.
