New Refrigerator Ship For N.Z. Trade

AUCKLAND. Wed. (P.A.). —A sistership of the Huntingdon, which was in Auckland recedntly, the twin-screw motor - ship Cumberland, will be launched in Britain today.

She is the 10th refrigerated ship built by Alexander Stephen and Sons, Ltd., for the New Zealand Shipping Company and associated companies in the past 10 years. Her gross tonnage is 11,300 tons. She is powered by Diesel engines and has a speed of 17 knots. She is expected to enter the New Zealand trade next year.
