Thefts At Mt Denby Golf Club
A small sum of money from club funds was stolen when the premises of the Whangarei Golf Club at Mt. Denby were broken into last night. A box belonging to the ladies’ secretary was upend, and also a private locker.
Nothing was taken from either ol these.
Also opened was a card box in the men’s room.
Discovered this morning by the club’s caretaker, Mr C. Rouse, the burglary is not thought to have been verv successful
Entry was gained by forcing a window in the men’s lavatory in the
