Cuban Elections
HAVANA, Thu. (10.20 a.m.)— The Supreme Electoral Court announced today that Signor Carlos Prio Socarros’ pro-Government Autentico Republican Alliance candidate won Tuesday's Cuban Presidential elections from three other candidates.
The runner-up was Ricardo Nunez Portuondo. Liberal-Democratic coalition candidate.
The Communist Party candidate, Senor Juan Marinello, was last. Senor Prio, who will be installed for a four-year term on October 10, is strongly anti-Communist.
