Commission Restores Weygand's Civil Rgihts
PARIS, Thu. (10 a.m.)—A legal commission dismissed collaboration charges against General Weygand and restored his civic rights. A Communist member of the commission said he would resign in protest.
The commission held in Weygand’s favour evidence asserting that he prevented Admiral Darlan from granting the Germans bases at 1 Dakar and: Bizerta early in 1941.
