WELLINGTON.— An Oxford has been won by a Victoria; College scientist Dr C. M. Cwilong, of the physics department., He has bean awarded the gold i#edal and prize for the Johnson Memorial prize essay. The Johnson prize is awarded every four | years for the best essay on an astronomical or meteorological subject by the /rustees, not lesf than two ydars’ noVice being given.
