I’IPAL ELECTRICITY SUPPLY Restrictions On Supply 3NT ’NOTICE TO' CONSUMERS The Council’s Electricity Load Control Committee has received notification that it is required to reduce its loading to 15% below its original allocation of units fqr this year. This is due to the extreme shortage of water at the main hydro-electric generating stations. To meet the situation the Electricity Load Control Committee requires all the Council's consumers to exercise the utmost economy in the use of then electrical supply and reduce their requirements to the minimum. Commencing immediately it will be necessary to disconnect the whole of the Council’s reticulation between the hours of 6.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. Domestic Supply-Consumers in areas where the supply cannot be dis connected on account of Hospitals, are prohibited fiom using the supp y between the hours of 6.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. Users of power for industrial purposes are asked to co-opciale with the Council and shut off all power at 4.30 p.m. each day.
