WATER PIPE BREAKS
People on the highest levels of Whangarci borough were without water for a period on Sunday. This was due to two breaks in the Maunu pipeline, with a consequent drain on the Whau Valley reservoir, which could not be kept filled because of power restrictions affecting pumping on Saturday and Sunday.
