Magistrate Resigns

NAPIER, Mon. (P.A.)Ater 49 years’ ‘service in the Justice Department, and '2O years on the Magisterial Bench, Mr J. Miller, magistrate in the Napier district, has resigned. Mr Miller has been a stipendiary magistrate in the Napier circuit for the past 13 years. He was formerly registrar of the Supreme Court at Christchurch and he was appointed to the Bench in 1928. He subsequently officiated in the Wairarapa and Wellington before being transferred to Napier.
